Family Contact Services

Great Future Support offers Family Contact Services with the focus being on the importance and value of keeping family members in contact with their children. The service provides a range of support services that helps to keep families together and strengthens the relationships between family members. We also provide support to the children, which helps to improve their communication with the person seeking contact, and ensuring that safety is maximised.

Supported Contact

Our Supported Contact Service focuses on the importance and value of keeping family members in contact with their children. This is done without close observation or monitoring. We believe that family contact is critical for the well-being of children, and our Supported Contact program is designed to help families stay connected and keep their children safe. No report is provided after the contact.

Supervised Contact

Our Supervised Contact Service involves having one of our trusted professionals, observe and monitor interactions between parents and children. This service is often used in highconflict custody cases, to ensure the safety of the children. Supervised contact can also help to improve communication between parents and children, and can help to build relationships. A report is provided after the contact.

Escorted/Community Contact

We also offer a Service involving the child and non-resident parent seeking contact being accompanied on visits to parks, shops, or at the family home. We continually aim to provide a safe, supervised environment for our clients to interact with their loved ones. This is an important part of maintaining healthy family relationships, and we are dedicated to providing the best possible service. A report is provided.

We provide support to children that are considered at risk, this is commissioned to us via children services. Our professional and experienced staff accomplishes this by helping family members to maintain communication and to keep things as normal as possible for the children. We help with their day to day routines and appointments that they may be struggling with. We also offer support to the parents, by providing them with information and advice, and by helping them to access services and resources. A report will be provided.

Virtual Video Contact

This involves the use of a Video Chat App like (Zoom, Skype or Teams), and may or may not be supervised. The parent and their child(ren) will be able to have contact this way. This type of contact can be for supervised, supported contacts and handovers. A report will be provided if the session is supervised.
